# User & Staker Guide

## Minting OCUSD

* Deposit USDC/USDT into the protocol
* Mint OCUSD at a 1:1 ratio

## Staking OCUSD

* Stake OCUSD to earn $OCEAN rewards
* *Unstake anytime, subject to lockups (if any)*

## Redeeming OCUSD

* Burn OCUSD to redeem USDC/USDT
* *Redemption subject to protocol liquidity*

## Risks

* Strategy failure (e.g. smart contract risk from external protocols)
* Depeg or underperformance from integrated assets
* Oracle manipulation (mitigated with Pyth + internal oracle)
